Paint types

Oil Based Paints

Sometimes known as solvent-based paints. This paint is the most common, reliable and durable for indoors and outdoors.

Water Based Paints

These are great for interior painting due to fast drying time and reduced fumes. Not as durable as oil based, but easier and quicker to apply.

Primer

Primer will seal your walls and stop your old paint bleeding into your new paint, causing discolouration. A must for colour changes on your walls.

Spray Paint

Great for applying to certain furniture, artwork or for intricate paint jobs as well as applying to roofs, spray paint is a great tool to have in the arsenal for a painter.

Enamel Paint

Supremely durable and great for indoors or outdoors, enamel paint is an excellent choice for your home or business. Widely used on furniture and cabinets, it offers long lasting protection with a quality finish.

Decking Paint & Decking Oil

Supremely durable and great for indoors or outdoors, enamel paint is an excellent choice for your home or business. Widely used on furniture and cabinets, it offers long lasting protection with a quality finish.

Flat Paint

Not the best paint for rooms you will be living in, but excellent for inside of cupboards etc. A great cost saving.

Matte Paint

Similar to Flat Paint, this paint is a cheaper option. It has more durability and has a better look than Flat Paint. Great for painting ceilings. A good choice if you’re on a budget.

Satin Paint

Similar to Eggshell, but slightly glossier, Satin Paint is a great option for your interior rooms.

Semi-Gloss Paint

Can withstand moisture and cleaning, this paint is great for bathrooms and kitchens too.

Gloss Paint

Really durable and can make areas of your home really stand out. Very cleanable and highly durable, this option must be applied carefully and correctly to avoid showing up any flaws.

Eggshell

Easy to apply and creates a texture with a matte finish, eggshell paint offers cleanable durability with a reasonable price tag.
